Gates offers a full range of crimpers that are designed for reliability in field service operations, mobile services, small workshops, and professional workshops.

• MC 10001
  Lightweight, portable crimper designed for reliability in field service. Comes with separate box, designed to contain complete set of dies. The pneumatic version has a foot-operated air pump. Crimps no-skive MegaCrimp® couplings for wire-braid hose up to 1". Manual or air-operated machine.
• MCX 20
  Powerful, lightweight, portable hand-operated crimper, ideal for field service operations. Comes with separate box, designed to contain complete set of dies. Crimps no-skive GlobalSpiral™ couplings up to 1” and no-skive MegaCrimp® couplings for wire-braid hose up to 1.1/4”.
• MCX 25
  Compact crimper for low-volume production. Ideal as starter machine or for small workshops. Crimps no-skive GlobalSpiral™ couplings up to 1” and no-skive MegaCrimp® couplings for wire-braid hose up to 1.1/4”. MegaSys® Pressure Hose Line

Gates MegaSys® Pressure hoses bend and bend – down to half EN/SAE bend radius. In fact, Gates MegaSys® Pressure hoses bend to half the bend radius of other EN 853 1SN, EN 853 2SN, EN 856 4SP and SAE 100R4 type hoses. They’re ideal for tight applications. And their incredible flexibility means you can use less hose for each application.

RLC
Recommended for: Petroleum-base hydraulic oils, glycol-antifreeze, air or water in low pressure fluid transfer or hydraulic system return lines. Generally connected to barbed stem or beaded-tube with worm gear clamps. Couplings: Use barbed stem or beaded-tube with clamps. Characteristics/benefits: Designed for use in suction and return lines. Without helical spiral wire – easy to cut.

Pilot Line

P1T Megaflex®
Recommended for: Hydraulic pilot control applications in confined spaces in industrial, construction and agricultural equipment, designed for superior signal response. Couplings: P1T range of compact couplings. Characteristics/benefits: Very high flexibility, lightweight and extremely tight bend radii. Superior resistance to kinking. MegaTuff® Abrasion Resistant Hose Covers
MegaTuff® survives the harshest applications. Cover abrasion is the first cause of premature failure of standard hydraulic hose in rugged environments such as mining, injection moulding, rock quarries or construction. Gates MegaTuff® is the long-lasting solution to the problem of abrasion. Thanks to the cover, made of a special hybrid compound, MegaTuff® hose is exceptionally resistant to abrasion, but also to oil, ozone, UV rays, chemicals and weathering. It eliminates the need for costly hose protection such as spring guards or nylon sleeving, thus reducing the total material cost.

Built mega-tough. The innovative manufacturing process guarantees superior adhesion of the MegaTuff® cover to the hose. The hose will not peel off, remains flexible and guarantees minimum bend radius performance. The combination of the MegaSys® Pressure hoses with the MegaTuff® cover offers superior impulse performance and good flexibility on all sizes.

MegaTuff® stands up to extended use. During stringent abrasion tests (ISO 6945) MegaTuff® hose exceeded one million cycles with no failure. That is more than three hundred times longer than standard rubber hose. MegaTuff® outperforms any other abrasion resistant hose on the market today.

MegaTuff® stands up to severe abrasion conditions. Remains unharmed when in contact with sharp edges, debris or extraneous objects.
