The in-situ spring eye bush replacement kit Nike's EBH18 hydraulic spring eye bush replacement tools have been developed in conjunction with commercial vehicle manufacturers and vehicle workshop personnel to provide a lightweight, in-situ time & labour saving solution for all makes & models of commercial vehicles.

Using Nike's 18 ton capacity lightweight aluminium hollow bore cylinder and the comprehensive set of accessories contained within the kits the equipment can be easily used on any vehicle and give the following major benefits:

The in-situ ball joint extractor kit NIKE’s unique BEU110 10 ton multi headed ball joint extractor is a superb complimentary tool to the spring eye bushing kits.
This tool has again been developed in conjunction with leading commercial vehicle manufacturers and workshop personnel to ensure that it covers virtually all the ball joints currently in use on vehicles on the present market.

The BEU110’s compact size and design allows it to access the majority of ball joints on vehicles such as: DAF, MAN, Mercedes, Scania, Volvo, Iveco & Hino. Also, the 10 ton load capacity ensures quick separation of the joint. Major features include

The choice of pump type depends on the application. Pumps can be either single-stage - when oil flow remains the same regardless of pressure - or double-stage - deliver a higher oil flow when the resistance is low (low pressure) and a reduced oil flow. Hence, lower pump effort when the resistance is high (high pressure). Double-stage pumps switch automatically between low and high pressure.

  • Hand pumps are portable and do not require an external power source. They are the most cost-effective option, but they require more effort and time when they are used with large cylinders.
    • Low pump force is designed to reduce the pump effort so that these pumps can be used in difficult situations, such as confined spaces and single-handed operation.
    • Low weight hand pumps are often moved between different work sites. Despite being made entirely of steel and other metals, Nike pumps are very light in weight.
    • Safety valve is fitted on all pumps and this prevents them from being overloaded.
    • Return connection are fitted on most Nike hand pumps. This means that when combined with a valve arrangement, they can be used in double-acting hydraulic applications.

  • Air hydraulic pumps are an economical choice and can be operated more quickly and effectively. They require a supply of compressed air.
    • PP-1000 series pumps are compact single-stage pumps that work in any position – horizontally or vertically – thanks to a rubber bladder built into the tank. They can be operated by hand or foot. This series has a high oil flow. It is easy to fill and check the oil level. The safety valve prevents overfilling of the tank. The return oil line can be connected to the oil filler hole.
    • PP-2100 series pumps are single-stage pumps in steel and aluminium with a compact and robust design. They are available with the following options:
      • FP (Foot Pedal for pumping and releasing)
      • RC (Remote Control)
      • MLD (level control valve for double-acting hydraulic operation)
      • MRV (Manual Release Valve) Ports for pressure and return connections, and level valve for manual release. This is for use with tools that have their own valve or with a separate external valve.
      • FP, RC, and MRV models have a built-in release valve that returns oil to the tank. Level glass allows oil level to be checked. All pumps are equipped with silencers. They are simple to operate and easy to carry.

    • PP-9000 series pumps are single-stage pumps with large tank capacities. They have a separate pressure gauge connection.

  • Electric hydraulic pumps are the best choice when high capacity is required. For example, when running large cylinders and/or several cylinders in parallel. They can be combined with various valve arrangements. They require access to an electrical supply.

  • Two-metre power cord without plug (4000 series).
